Quinn Christmas Eve Party

Kathleen Quinn Powers writes:

Here are some recent photos of Christmas Eve at Tommy's including a greeting to Joseph in Baghdad from Mary and 3 of the 4 Quinn kids, a thumbs up from Nolan (who ran a 103.7 temp on the Eve and was miraculously better once Santa arrived on Christmas Day), and Mary with the reluctant Elliott boys on December 26 (they do not know what to do with a girl!). There is also a photo of Ken and Tommy, etc at the Holy Name event earlier this month.

Christmas Eve Dinner at Ken and Nancy's

The best seafood salad in America

Every Christmas Eve Nancy cooks a wonderful Italian seafood dinner at her house. Rich and Eileen, their kids, and Mary Ellen join Ken and Nancy's family after Mass for dinner, a vicious game of Dotsie and a visit from Santa. For the last three years, I have been attending, for both the family and the food. Here are some pictures of the food. This weekend I'll post some family pictures from the evening.

Welcome to the new home of the Nolans of Brooklyn

In response to the flood of questions (actually there were two) about the fate of the Nolans of Brooklyn website, I have created this blog. It is intended to serve as photo respository and current news site for the family and a history lesson for the generations born after 1975. They will learn about 10th Ave and Wndsor Place; everyone else will learn about blogs. I will gradually post the pictures from the web site and any new pictures sent to me at jnolanchicago (at) gmail.com. Plus we will see what good stuff we can find as Ken cleans out 29 Sherman.
Hope you enjoy it.
